Yesterday the second annual Squam art show opened. I have four paintings showing there this month and this one sold yesterday on opeing day! Yay!
Here's a description in Jen Elliot's (of the Sandwich Artisans Guild) words:
The Second Annual Squam Art Show: Vision of Squam opens today at the Sandwich Artisans Guild located inside Mocha Rizing, 25 Main Street, in Center Sandwich. The exhibit will be on display through September 19th, with an Artist Reception from 3-5 PM on September 18th. Over 20 artists and teachers from the Squam Art Workshops, held at the Rockywold/Deephaven Camps, will be exhibiting work.
The Sandwich Artisans Guild is a co-op of fine arts and crafts. The Guild currently features 10 members from Sandwich and the surrounding towns of Madison, Moultonborough and Tamworth, who produce handmade wearable art, photography, paper pieces, fiber arts, prints, lampshades, paintings, re-purposed furniture, jewelry and confections.
