one step forward

IMG_6984

I’ve been quiet here lately. I haven’t had a very good attitude and didn’t want to spread the sour apples. It’s hard to be perky and spry when you feel bad physically, emotionally and mentally. But I’m slowly surfacing and putting on my polka dots.

We’re heading out to Cali-Cali for the next while. The kids have been trying to pack all week, but ALL their clothes have been dirty. Now that everything in the whole house has been laundered (pat, pat, pat—good job, Britt.) we can get ourselves a-movin’. I’m looking forward to seeing a bunch of you west coast friends and family!

I understand the feeling crappy part but for what it's worth...you look great! If you end up in So Cal with some free time...look us up (though I'm sure you'll be busy up north). Have a great trip!

I hope you all have fun at that reunion. I'm bummed that I'm moving this weekend and have to miss it.

Love the photo. You look gorgeous as always. I know people say this, it's soooo cliche, but it's soooo true - it goes by so quickly. Before you know the twins will be turning 10 and you'll be wondering how the years went by so quickly. Pat your tummy and try to smile through the tough stuff.

Love you!

Being pregnant is so hard, and it being hot doens't help either :) Not to worry fall will come soon, there is something about Fall, it always makes me feel happy. I got the notebook, it is beautiful! Have fun in CA, we are leaving tomorrow to go to Tracy (1 hour north of San Fransico) prob will go to San Fransico a couple times and Santa Cruz beaches. Maybe we will run into you!

I hope you are feeling OK. Pregnancy is tough with just one...I can only imagine what you must be feeling with two. Good thoughts are headed your way! And if you see that sweet sister Brooke while in Cali tell her to post again! I miss her!

You'll do fine. It's important that you relax and take it easy. We had ultra sounds every two weeks because of the twins (high risk yada yada)...that's a great bonus. it gives the chance to watch them develope. There's no doubt twins should come with both a nanny and a good therapist. Church helps too!

For someone who feels so crappy, you look simply beautiful...does that mean feeling crappy agrees with you? That shouldn't make sense. Anyway, have fun and try to relax and be pampered a bit on your trip!
