I went home to finish a mural for my mom. She's been planning a kids' room with a little reading alcove. I wish I had pictures of the finished room, because it's going to be so cute. Picture walls full of children's books for all ages, an enchanting beaded green chandelier, bean bags and pillows to lay down on and escape into books under this whimsical apple tree.

The last comment was mine-sorry-I had pasted a wrong line in.
I love this it is beautiful. I have been wanted to paint a mural for my sons room but am intimidated.
This is lovely-wish I could have you do one for me.
If I were rich, I would fly you down here and pay you to paint, design and just go crazy with your creativity. I love it!
We used to wonder why Brooke's sister didn't dance. I remember her telling us that you were an artist. She was so proud of you. Now I know what she was talking about. It's so beautiful. All your work is beautiful and creative.
Ooohhhh, I want to curl up and read there...how fun, and beautiful!
This is beautiful...what child (or grown up) wouldn't want to settle in and dream here on cold and rainy days when the trees outside weren't nearly so inviting? You are a wonder...by the way, the JOURNAL arrived and it is incredible and I shared about it on my blog, hope that's okay. Keep doing your amazing work...
Love,
D.

That mural is gorgeous and I love the idea of a kid's reading room! Someday, when we have kids and our next house, I want to have a dedicated reading place!
