because i like them.

Here’s what I’m doing {besides trying to get over the fact that I committed to blog every day. That’s the last time I’m doing that. It’s not that I don’t love blogging, it’s that now I’m supposed to blog.} lately, in-between the bathing and feeding and cleaning up after three small children and festivities and days off school, etc, etc, etc…

I am not, {I repeat} NOT a seamstress, but I can pretend, right? Since Kim over at OJ &Co. keeps selling out of her killer aprons, I decided to just make one for myself. Well, of course, I have to go nuts deciding which fabrics I love, and maybe I can use some of my collection of vintage hankies, add some lace and whatever and stuff and you have…some attempts. I’m getting a little better, but I will make them much better. (It would have been cheaper just to spend the $40.) I have googled fabric flower tutorials (there are a lot!) and have started fooling around to see what I like, so most likely I’ll have a mish-mosh of random fabric flowers, but how can that be bad? Maybe I’ll have an apron give-away one of these days.

So cute! Yes, please have an apron give-away and let me win. I love your fabrics.

Those fabrics are GREAT! I love cute aprons. I think they should just be worn over pants and skirts on an everyday basis. I look forward to dinner parties just so I can wear a cute apron! If I ever learn to sew, maybe I'll make some!

I get what you mean about blogging everyday. When it starts to be a chore, it isn't as fun.

Your work is incredible. It is a good thing there are people around like you.

Screw the give a way. Make people buy them, they are so cute you deserve it. Do I have to cook to need an apron? Can I wear it to kindergarten pick-up?

It's so funny because I was soooo excited to buy my cutesy indie apron and do I wear it? Not so much. It's more just to look at. Maybe this will inspire me to actually wear it today (what if it gets a stain - heaven forbid????)

P.S. I love your blogging everyday. I love knowing I can log onto your blog every single day and there will be something new. Love love love.

I'd buy your aprons! I really need one-every day when I take off my pants I notice I have stains on my tush. When I'm cooking I forget to use a towel and the next closest thing is my denim. I would need an apron that covered the back as well as the front.

Hello, thanks for "there" to my blog!
Yeah, I have 2 kids (3 and 5 years old) and when both at home I can't do much. Blogging everyday...well, I don't have many things to tell people, since I cut all personal stuff...this blogland can be strange sometimes so, I got shy.
I like your apron too, I started making bags and after selling the first one, I got motivated. Keep moving on. Get your space out there!
