Oh wait...I think I see on the ultrasound pic the due date in Feb. Sweet...we're just about 7 weeks apart. Are you very sick right now? I can only imagine. Oh wait...no imagination required. I feel it right now :) xoxo.

For real??? Wow! Congrats times two! On another note...I bought "A great and terrible beauty" and really like it so thanks for the recommendation!

thanks, guys. Yeah, C, I'm sick. wicked. I've been going through every sort of emotion that you can imagine. But we are happy and excited along with our shock. I'm "due" at the end of Feb, but what that really means at this point is that hopefully I'll make it to the beginning of Feb. We're a little more than 8 weeks along right now...

The kids are SUPER excited. They totally called it. I'll have to tell the story later.

Holy COW!! That's SO Awesome for you guys. Congrats!!!! (so, I'm thinking and thinking and don't recall ever hearing of any twins along the family line.??) Guess your family needed to get to to getting those spirits on the road faster then you all had hoped to hit that number. That's SO exciting. I will look forward to reading updates even more then I already do :o).
Hope they're nice to you from in their little 4-Star accomodations.

Super friends-to the rescue! I'm so excited!
The Lord really loves you Britt...I think you have proven that you can handle just about anything that comes your way! I think you can consider this your FULL marathon!

WOW WOW WOW! I had to double check to see whose blog I had clicked on! That is a fantastic way to get more kids without all the pregnancies...is that a weird way of looking at it? (The discomfort is too fresh in my mind.) I am SO excited for you and your family--what fun! (I know, easy for me to say.) Congrats many times over!

NO WAY!! That is wonderful news, I'm so happy for the both of you, and you know, if you ever need any advice on what to do to get ready for twins, my sister and I have tons of it! I can't believe it.. that's wonderful!!! :)

Brooke told me yesterday and I'm STILL in shock. I've been thinking about you all day. And since you thought you were done years ago with Abbie and got rid of everything baby, I'm already thinking of things I want to send you. Can't wait to find out the sex of the babies!

You told me a couple of hours ago and I'm still in shock...then I get excited...then I go back into shock...etc. Its funny how life goes - there's always got to be a twist in there when we start to get to get too comfortable. You can do it!

Shelby said...

AGHHHHH! I can't wait to see all 3 of you in a few weeks.

WOW. God be with you. Congratulations!

WOW! What amazing news! What a really cool and exciting treat though I have to admit...I'd be a bit afraid if it were me. As for you...getting to see who you are and getting to know you (through the "peep show" we call blogging). I know you can do anything! I am so excited and happy for you guys!!!

twins are the greatest and a good way to catch up with us. we are a month ahead of you with number five. can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks. congratulations!

Twins are the best!! Welcome to the world of mothering multiples. I am actually jelous of your situation. I have a 2 yr old and twins, and it is SOOO HARD! But you will have little ones to hold the babies, sometimes that is all you need is extra hands to hold a crying baby while you take care of the other crying baby. For now I am taking care of 3 crying kids, it is quite the adventure, but so fun.
Looks like each twin is in their own sac, which could be fraternal. I can't wait to find out :) Mine shared a sac, which was a little higher risk.
I hope you have those babies sooner than I did (38 wks 2 days), it is torture going that long. But I also hope their healthy. congrats!! I am so happy for you!

Twins, they are fun! Good luck you'll have your hands full but they can be really delightful. Mine are almost 6 and ready to start 1st grade. Enjoy the babies!

I have been thinking of you all day. Twins. Wow. It makes me smile and shake my head at the same time. You are an insanely wonderful person and these two new little people are incredibly lucky to be coming into your life. The amount of love and wisdom that they will get to have constant access to, is huge. They are truly lucky to have you.

Miss you - love you. xoxo

I will second that twins are the best! And I will also second that I'm a little jealous because having a 2 1/2 year old and then twins was a challenge, but your older kids will be such a big help (plus they have each other to keep them entertained). Congratulations and get used to the phrase "you've got your hands full," because every stranger you come across will think it's the first time you've heard it! But it's such fun! Take good care of yourself and keep us posted!

You are going to rock at this. I simply can't wait. This is going to be the longest pregnancy ever :) Did I tell you that Dallas is secretly jealous?? He totally WANT twins... um- No thanks! Who WANTS twins?? But I couldn't be happier for you!!

Leigh said...

CONGRATULATIONS!! All I can think of is how lucky these two babies are to be born into your wonderful, loving and super cool family! Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy.

Oh my! Flood of memories! I'm freaking out (in a good way) for you right now! I was 20 weeks when I found out (20 WEEKS! Crazy!) and they were two big round heads by that point. Not little lima beans! Twins are so fun after the first year or so...I know, what kind of a consolation is that, right!? They really do end up easier in many ways because they have a built in playmate!

God bless! Love your blog...love your photos...excited to see you at the reunion!

i'm pensively happy for you. i think it's wonderful and amazing and exciting! but i also know that it's going to be a serious adjustment, and a little bit scary, and a whole lot of sick.

(((hugs)))

you are a great mama.
