I sit here and wonder if I can do this. How do other people do this? Back and forth I go from one extreme to the other. From believing in myself and knowing that I am meant for something like this. I have talent and passion and vision. To shrinking back from having to “sell” myself and face people’s reactions for good and bad. There is so much I have learned, but there is so far to go. I sit here on the diving board, and I count to three over and over again. “Okay, one…two…three. Wait. Okay, now I’m ready. One…two…three. Hold on, just a sec. One…two…” Deep Breath.
In September my web site will be in the works. I’m working on my studio. I’m working on my creations. I’ll have to take the plunge sometime. I hope it will be refreshing.

OOOO September....can't wait to see...did you know that I make & sell cards too? Also jewelry...I have my first show in Sept....I'm nervous as heck, but excited too.
So far, I'm not doing the web thing. i have established myself more locally, but every once in a while, my stuff gets sent far away and the word somehow makes it back to me...it always feels soooo weird. Like as if the merchandise isn't really mine.

That is how I've been feeling about my business as well. I still have soo far to go. I'm terrible at "selling myself", but it's something I'm working on. Can't wait to see the website!

You never know how cold or warm the water is until you jump in...just know you have a lot of lifeguards watching out for you.

If the water is too cold, just have patience, you'll get used to it. You have had this in you for as long as I can remember. There is no way you can fail, just going through with your dream is enough. I wish I had the courage to do what you are doing!
I know you can do this. I know how hard it is too. There is something so scary about just putting it all out there. But you will do it, and you will acheive this goal, and you will be so PROUD of yourself as soon as you take this plunge. I know you can do it. Keep believing in yourself. You know you have the talent and now you just need the business skills. They come as you go along and you never stop learning- a beautiful concept- you don't have to know everything at this moment, it will come peice by peice. You will learn to take little peices from everyones mind and make them your own. You will no less than AMAZE each of us as well as yourself- I am sure of it!!
