Name That Song

The Rules:
1. Please DO NOT guess in the comment section. E-mail me (see my profile page for my e-mail address).
2. I really send a prize, so be honest and fair. (If you can sing it when you read the lyrics, you know it.)
3. Previous winners may still play.
4. Be the FIRST to e-mail me with the correct song title & artist and win.

Good Luck!

This month's lyric is:

Find the cost of freedom
Buried in the ground
Mother earth will swallow you
Lay your body down

Update:

I guess I should stick to more common songs that more people will know! Here's another song by the same artist(s):

And you, of tender years,
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by,
And so please help them with your youth,
They seek the truth before they can die.

Teach your parents well,
Their children's hell will slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picks, the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you will cry,
So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

Good luck, I hope this helps!

Dang! I got here before anyone else and it is on the tip of my mind and yet... nothing! So close but so far. But is it John Mayer? I don't think so but who knows...

Well, the hint helped out, I see!

Congratulations to boho, she emailed me first! The answer is Teach Your Children Well by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

Good job to the rest of you who guessed right.

The first song is called The Cost of Freedom, just a little short ditty, but I guess it's not as well known...

We'll play again next month.

Loves,
B
