I just made this yesterday--trying to learn digital stuff and what not. What a difference a day makes! Where did my cute darling girl go and who is this devil child in her place? I think I'm going to blow a gasket if she screams any more or tells me she hates me again. Where does the meanie come from in a tiny person? Just being three?
The truth is I don't feel any different. I still love and adore her, of course. I just would much rather be around someone who is...
nice.
{pleas, honey, bring back the nice!}Does anyone have any words of widsom for a mother of a three year old? (I shouldn't need any; she's my third child who has been three, but it's hard when you're in the thick of the three-ness.)

Ohhhh!!! I have been referring to my three year old as "Demon Spawn" lately... He tells me he hates me at least 15 times a day... and he also calls me an "idiot" and a "moron" several time a day as well. Thank you Disney Pixar for adding those words to his vocabulary!
If you find out anything that works pass it along!!! :)
3 year olds are tough. I have three boys, so they are a little less emotional then I'd picture girls to be, but nonetheless I remember when people said the terrible two's and I thought what are they talking about and then they hit 3 and the terribleness came out of them.
i'll email you. it's a long story.
I'm suffering through this as well, one day a delight, the next a nightmare. A precursor to their teens? I hope not! I just try and keep Ellie busy, friends and school and projects. The more she plays the less she talks back...Candices love and logic thing will probably be much better!
Somehow we made it 6 years without hearing "I hate you" but now I have heard it several times in the last few weeks. I have no advice. Clark and I are already planning nannies to take over when all of these girls hit their teens.
Holy pro scrapbooker!!! You amaze me. Well, I can't really help with the 3 yr old problem. Koby and Tommy weren't normal developing, so they never acted like that. And Bree didn't either, but she is saving it up for when she is a teenager. I really am seriously, seriously terrified. Maybe Abby will be a good teenager? Just trying to sprinkle some hope in there :)
My daughter who is ten now used to spend hours outside when she was three because she was such a snot gob. I locked her out there. Call the cops.
I'm worried Alice is going to have the nasty disease too. Claire got better when she was six. It was a long three years.
