I have to tell you that I just LOVE your muse painting! I'd buy it if I had someone in my house to do it justice. (Not too sure it'd go along with the sword collection, or the king tut cross-stitch, hmmm.) Both paintings are beautiful, but I've never been a girly-girl, and there's something about that painting that just hit me. Love it. LOVE that you had a great Friday. Mine was the BEST day I'd had in months, so it's good to know there was happiness in the air elsewhere (and we got our heads off our knees and out of hiding.)
Hope the art show is WELL attended and all goes well :o).

I just re-read my comment. IN SPITE of never being a girly-girl, I'm fascinated that it's the very girly painting that hit me in such a way as to actually make me WANT to own it. I'm not usually like that...I admire and move on. We rarely get to keep any of my husbands art, and most of the things I make are for others, so I've adopted the "detached" appreciation.

Anyway, hope that made it make more sense. Look forward to more posts. I do SO love to catch up on your blog entries.
