Somebody Stop Me!

Butterfinger breakfasts, lollipop lunches, snickers snacks and disappointed dinners. Hiding the unwrapping sound as I sneak yet another mini candy bar from my children’s trick or treating bags. Pounds and pounds of chocolate and absolutely no self control to stop my NEVER ENDING, INSATIABLE craving for chocolate! If there is a shortage of Kit Kats, Twix, Butterfingers or Snickers, it’s only because I have eaten them all.

These, my friends, are the dangers of Halloween. The kids getting run over by a car—well, you just put a glow stick on them. Solved. The treats being sabotaged by a psycho-killer—you just eat them yourself. Solved. See? I’m just being a good mother. My children are well protected. Thank goodness for mothers who are willing to eat pounds and pounds of candy for the sake of saving their children from those horrible …. Okay, who will come to my house and take away all this candy??? Please? Is anybody out there willing??? Can’t… Do…it….myself….

Britt, if you think that's bad have a load of this: I'm allergic to chocolate. I get terrible diarrhea when I eat too much of it. YET, I ate so much of it on Monday that I was running to the bathroom all night long. I had to run home DURING trick-or-treating with the kids just to use the restroom. I might need some counseling.

Well, when I emptied the trash this week, the one that only I use, I was astounded by all the candy wrappers..... who put all those there? Certainly not me! Hi, My name is Jessa and I need to join that CA (chocolates anon.) session! Immediately!

I find it ironic that Lucky Candice cannot eat candy. Hi, my name is Abby and I feel justified in eating as much chocolate as I want, as long as it is dark chocolate. It's more satisfying, and sooo sophisticated (plus my husband doesn't like it, and now we get to the real reason I buy it...)

By the way, Kara, why can't I leave a comment on your dang fancy xanga? I had good stuff to say and everything!--yes, I've been lurking a bit just now...congrats on that baby, and don't feel bad, I have whole blogs dedicated to how uncomfortable I was during pregnancy.
