Jake is home and doing well. The surgeon said that he removed a mass about the size of a golf ball and “it was a weird lookin’ thing.” But it looked benign and he is recovering at home now.
The rest of the fam is a disaster area. All three kids have the flu and they are grumpy and have fevers. #1 has scared me, because she has hardly gotten up at all this week. Since Sunday, she has lain lifeless with temperatures from 100 to 104 degrees. Today she has been sitting up and asking for food and actually crying, so that is a marked improvement. Right this moment #3 is crying and trying to push me off the seat. That’s all the update you’re getting for now!

Good luck, girlie!! Life is hard when its in disaster mode, but just remember something good always comes from something hard! Your family will now have a renewed love for you and all that you do for them. Remember karma is a good thing!
And when they are all smiles and laughs again, we'll go out and celebrate the accomplishment of having a disaster free home, once again. There's alot of chocolate in that equation!!! :)
thanks, girly. chocolate sounds good. hmmmmm. which stash should I get into...
Britt - honestly, they haven't come up with a cure for the flu yet? These people obviously don't have kids...
seriously. I almost lost it yesterday. I went to bed at 7:30, I was so exausted! Today I feel nice and refreshed. I had to make Jake stay home from church, can you believe that? I was ready to go find his keys so I could hide them. Silly boy. Men who were recently sliced open do not get to drive places alone.
