Bits & Pieces

My eyes have recently been opened to faikus, a poem similar to a haiku. There are two rules: the sequence of syllables is 1/1/2/3/5/8, and no one-syllable lines can contain an article. Tonight I was a guest speaker at Girl's Camp. My subject was reguarding personal revelation. Here's my attempt:
God
speaks
spirit to
wide-open spirit;
do no doubt your witness from God.

I love these, I could do them all day. Yours is beautiful, I want to paint it on something for my 2 teenage daughters. May I?

Beautiful! Now my limericks seem really lame. :)

You were a guest speaker at girls' camp? I love it! Some of my most vivid memories of you are from girls' camp. I remember the morning we had to leave and NOT WANTING IT TO END! Those were good days. I still have dreams sometimes about friends from Boston.

I remember that clearly. I knew that when it was over, I had to move accross the country. I remember eating lobster on the way home--does that sound right? Lots of my dreams take place in Medfield. still. But I'm a little wierd:)
