Name That Song

Today’s prompt for Sunday Scribblings is “music.” Well, as it happens, every month on the 25th day, it is time for Name That Song. This is the sixth month, and it has been fun! I love music, and have written a couple posts about how music touches me. It has the capacity to fill my soul, where words alone sometimes lack. No matter the genre or decade, if it touches me, it’s a keeper. Music has mourned with my losses, cheered with my excitement, loved with my loves. Without further adew, let’s play!

The Rules:

1. Please DO NOT guess in the comment section. E-mail me (see my profile page for my e-mail address).
2. I really send a prize, so be honest and fair.
3. Previous winners may still play.
4. Be the FIRST to e-mail me with the correct song title & artist and win.
Good Luck!

This month's lyric is:

And even though we ain't got money, I'm so in love with ya honey,
And everything will bring a chain of love.
And in the morning when I rise, you bring a tear of joy to my eyes,
And tell me everything is gonna be alright.

I feel I shouldn't guess, having already won once before, but I know it, I know it! And what a great prize I got! I always feel like a loser too because I guessed in the comment section...oops.

Don't be silly, Abby, I didn't have the rules spelled out very well--I have forgiven you. Feel like a loser no more! :) And don't worry--you can play again...

CONGRATS to TORI! She won this month. It is "Danny's Song" by Kenny Loggins and/or Anne Murray (they both have versions of it.)

And might I add, thank goodness for my regular blogging buddies, cause not one of those Sunday Scribblers guessed. *tear*

Okay, you know what? James Taylor was a decent guess I think. Congrats to the winner (enjoy your stinkin' prize!!)
