transitions

blue wellies

We’ve been struggling with anxiety here. The transition that middle school brought on proved to be a tough one. I couldn’t see my girl anymore and she was right in front of me. (You know what I mean?) It has been really horrible and scary.

But we have been working really, really hard and with some extra help, she is coming back to me. Progress is being made. Tears are less frequent and smiles are more frequent.

Sometimes life can get really serious.

Love that beautiful girl. Love how you are helping her CONQUER and not RUN. She will be all the better forever because of the hard work she is doing now... Loves to you both.

I hated middle school. didn't we all have issues. I am homeschooling my kids in middle school- it is just the worste! I hope you both see it through, it is HARD (especually nowadays)
and as for Mama Coons comment- I couldn't agree more, which sends me into panic attacks because I think of how HARD it really is NOW! HELP!!! Will I get through this life alive?? ANd will my kids make it? I can only hope and pray!

Bless her! Bless all of you! I ache for you.
Ask Emily who she had to come sit with in the nurse's office every day her fifth grade year. I received a sweet letter in the mail every single day from "The Cloud Fairy" (I later found out it was my Gma:) and that was a sweet little something to look forward to after school each day. Oh anxiety can make every moment last an eternity--and the time at home safe with family goes too fast. I will send prayers!
