leg warmers
what could be easier to make than little tubes to warm tiny legs?
I just measured around little thighs, cut some stretchy fabric, and sewed straight (kind of) in a zig zag stitch. Then I put them on and they played with string. I love that we live in a time that we can just cut stuff up and leave the seam showing and call it a "ruffle" of sorts, don't you? Now I'm going to go cut up some old sweaters and T-shirts to keep my babies warm this fall.
xo,
Britt

Cute idea, cute pics! Too bad leg warmers wouldn't go over too well with my boys....
what....you made them make their own?
I want to squeeze them. I am having a lazy day (ie refusing to do chores) so I would come to your house, pick up your darlings and let you craft the day away while I played with littles. How I wished we lived close and you just made things for me...a request that is weird on so many levels but you know what I mean. (PS I have decided to decorate the two older girls room here in our new place with birdies, around your two prints. I love it.)
Em, how I wish that same thing. Wouldn't it be fun??? I would totally make you stuff:) And now you're moving farther away? wah!
What about their feet? (It's the grandma in me)
I love 'em!!!!
